I came across the following this morning. It is written by and old
friend and mentor Richard Flint. I get emails from Richard every
morning. Richard makes me think. Even when I'm not in the mood to think!
FAITH
Faith: Trusting when you have no sight.
Have you ever had the fear of the unknown stop you
dead in your tracks? You were moving toward
something you wanted, turned the corner and there
was the unknown staring at you right in the face.
Because you lacked a solid foundation of self-trust,
you didn’t have the faith to take a deep breath and
continue. Instead, you turned around, stepped
backward and went looking for another route. There
is always a detour; the challenge is the detour takes
you away from, rather than toward what it is you’re
wanting. Faith in yourself is such an important
aspect of continuing to move forward — even when
things are not predictable.
Remember, life is a puzzle you put together each day through
Your behavior. -Richard Flint
