It is frustrating to be in an industry of which very few people understand the importance of the protection to the home owners of America that we provide.
I am a member of the OHIO LAND TITLE ASSOCIATION and was reading the monthly newsletter this morning and came across an article by our president, J. Scott Stevenson. In his article, he defined it very well and I am passing this excerpt on to you.
"We are the guardians of the real estate records, working with local, state and federal governments to make sure taxes, child support and other issues are cleared of record before each sale or refinance. We also insure the consumer and usher the transaction through with acute precision. These activities, and many others, are not taken lightly by those who work in this industry.
